TOOTH TOOTH maison 15th
Housed within Kobe’s oldest former foreign residence, and now completely renovated, is this French restaurant in Naniwa Town, Chuo Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture. The building, designated an Important Cultural Property of Japan, has distinct styles on the first and second floors, and a charmingly relaxed atmosphere. Popular dishes on the menu include the kyukyoryuchi (former foreign residence) beef stew made with caramelized onions and fresh pasta, and the colonial tea set with a selection of seasonal hors d’oeuvre and cakes. It’s worth noting that the colonial tea set is only available at certain times and in certain quantities. Easily accessible from Sannomiya Station and Motomachi Station.
