Arima Toy Museum
This is a museum in the Arima Onsen area of Kita Ward, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, which displays and introduces its collection of toys domestic and imported. The 4,000 articles in the collection are displayed in four themed areas. Here both children and adults can enjoy tin-sheet toys, railway dioramas, nutcracker dolls, traditional German toys, and modern European toys. There is also a space where toys can actually be played with. On the fourth floor is the British mechanical doll “Automata” through which one can learn about current techniques and craftsmanship.

- Love this!
- Museums in Japan really get children and there is always a place to play. This is no exception. A great spot to see quirky automaton and play with toys.
