The Yambaru Forest is located in Kunigami Village on Okinawa’s main island and offers visitors a chance to experience the natural wonders of the island. The facility is divided into two zones: The “Discovery Zone,” where visitors can observe aquatic plants and wildlife, and the “Active Zone,” which features a camp and physical activity space in the midst of nature. The nature trail is highly recommended. A 1.5-kilometer stroll along the trail will bring you to a suspension bridge and an observation tower from which you can admire the subtropic surroundings. Various types of tours are available as well, including a guided walking tour, canoeing, and birdwatching.

施設に入るときは靴も消毒します。ヤンバルクイナは沖縄には２０００匹ほどはいるそうです。案内のお姉さんが可愛い人でまた行きたくなる。

『やんばるの森』の中に入って生き物を探したり、風を感じたりするのによいところです。リバーソングコースとヨンナーコースを歩き、多くの野鳥やミズスマシ、ヤンバルマイマイなどと出会いました。車で通り抜けるだけではわからなかった『やんばるの森』素晴らしさを感じられました。シーズンオフは食堂の営業はなく、弁当持ちで訪れるといいです。夜間ツアーやバードウォッチングツアーは宿泊者限定なのでな、生き物好きな方は...

やんばるの山の中にある宿泊施設です。ホテルというよりは、自然体験施設ですね。街の喧騒から離れて、山の空気を存分に吸いながらも滞在もお勧めです。ただ、夏場は虫が多いです。
