Boasting the largest open-air bath in Northern Kinki, guests come to Kumihama Onsen Yumotokan for banquets, to stay over, or just to drop by for a bath. It's a free-flowing natural hot spring set in the rural landscape of Kumihama. Their outdoor bath that can accommodate as many as 100 people at once is fed by a hot spring flowing from a rocky cliff facing the bath; there's no extra water added it's not heated. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the seasonal scenery.

まず食事処にて注文した物と違う物が提供されました。誰にでもミスは有りますしその事対してはあまり気にしていません。一番気にかかったのが受付の方の対応です。明らかに店側に非があると考えられる事にも関わらず、謝罪も無しに投げやりな対応をされたと感じました。接客業だから客に対して常に愛想良くしろとは言いませんが、一人間としてより真摯な対応を心がけて頂きたいものです。
食塩泉がかけ流し

京都丹後鉄道小天橋駅から東へ少し進んだ先にある、日帰り温泉併設旅館です。日帰り入浴で利用しました。建物は古いですが、温泉の湧出量は豊富。泉温が高いので温度調整のため、多少火水はされているものの、かけ流しで利用されています。さっぱりとした浴感でした。
露天風呂

町からも海からも離れた位置にあり、立地条件としては行きにくいところですが、大きな掛け流し温泉の露天風呂は魅力的でした。ご自分の車で行かれるなら良いかも知れません。
