This izakaya is five minutes on foot from the Keihan Main Line's Fushimi Momoyama Station in Fushimi Ward, Kyoto City. They feature a variety of chicken-based cuisine including skewers made with domestic poultry. Housed in a refurbished Shinsei sake warehouse, they have tanks of Kuradashi unprocessed sake delivered directly to the brewery that guests enjoy poured fresh. Excellent ‘locals’ restaurant within the Gion area. A very small space which gets busy so either come early or be prepared to wait. Cheap and delicious.
