Gojo Ohashi Bridge

Bridge
This bridge crosses the Kamogawa River at Gojo-dori Street in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto City. It's famous for being the place where the Heian period legend of theencounter between Ushiwakamaru and Benkei was said to have happened. Many tourists visit to see the stone statue of the encounter in a style where the protagonists are characterized like Kyoto dolls.
