Mamaya
This is a Japanese tavern hidden away on the back streets of Kiyamachi, a two minute walk from Kawaramachi Station on Hankyu Kyoto Line. It is open from 13:00 and visitors can enjoy a set menu for lunch. The cuisine is reasonably priced such as 130 yen for a fried pork skewer, and dishes of traditional Kyoto home style cooking and a la carte dishes beginning from 300 yen. The carefully prepared cuisine is served simply and guests can enjoy a special time here. The restaurant has a wonderful ‘at home' feel, so guests feel happy to come alone. You can also book the entire restaurant for a banquet, and enjoy the relaxed space fully.
