Dessert Cafe Chourakukan
This Western-style building constructed in the Meiji era is an elegant dessert café and a ten minute walk from Keihan Gion Shijo Station. The guests can choose from seven different styles of room and indulge themselves as they enjoy live piano performances four times a day and twice in the evening. The Rococo style “guest room”, which was once used as a drawing room, is only used for afternoon tea. Visitors can spend an elegant afternoon enjoying cakes and tea using British style afternoon tea stands, with scones and sandwiches.
