Grill Kodakara
This is an old-fashioned retro-western style restaurant that was opened more than 50 years ago in 1967. Demi-glace sauce made from variety of vegetables is abundantly used in most dishes on the menu. The omelet with rice, a popular menu, can be selected from three sizes: small, medium, or large. On the menu besides omelet, visitors can enjoy fried shrimp, fried chicken and hearty hamburg stake.

- Average food in a nice ambiance
- We tried the omurice, chicken Cutlet, beef hash on rice and the croquette. They were ok. Not bad. But nothing to queue for.

- Stunning
- Stunning. Somehow the dishes feel more homely than usual restaurant food. But the taste is amazing. They lip-smacking demi glace is a thing of beauty. Make sure to try the famous omurice.

- Excellent Omelette with rice
- Grill Kodakara is a famous Western restaurant in Kyoto, which has over 50 years of history. Their omelette with rice (Omu Rice) is really delicious. You have a choice of small, middle or big portion...
