A Japanese trinket shop located a three minute walk from both Karasuma Station and Shijo Station operated by the Sanbi trinket brand, which was founded in 1886. The shop sells exclusively designed trinkets made with traditional Japanese craft making techniques such as tie dying and sewing, including furoshiki wrapping cloths, bags, gamaguchi purses, tenugui hand cloths, and obidome sash ornaments. Like the products sold there, the design of the shop itself is a blend of the traditional and the modern.

京都っておみやげものやさんはたくさんあるけど、こちらのは品のあるデザインが多くて、それでいてリーズナブルで買いやすい。私は千鳥の手ぬぐいをおみやげに4枚いただきましたが、一つずつ袋に入れ、リボンをつけて下さった。丁寧な接客で気持ちよく買い物でき、お気に入りのお店になりました。

SUINA室町の南側にある和雑貨のお店です。店内は広くゆったりしていて、上品な雰囲気です。風呂敷、手ぬぐいやがま口、厄落としグッズその他にもいろんな商品がありました。自分用に、おみやげ探しにもぴったりです。
