This is an old live fish and shellfish shop located in Matsushima Town, Kamiamakusa City. As the name suggests, inside the shop is a huge tank with carefully selected fresh seafood which go into its fresh seafood cuisine. In its most popular special sea urchin rice bowl, the bowl is so full of seasonal urchin such as kaze urchin, murasaki urchin and bafun urchin that one cannot see the rice beneath. One bite from this luxurious bowl and the urchin’s refined sweetness, umami flavor and scent of the beach spread across the palette.

色々迷ったがウニと刺身のセットにした。2300円ぐらい。新鮮なうに、刺身が食べられる。満足するが、刺身が薄かったような？丼か小さかったような？味は申し分ない。量が！もう少しあった方が満腹になるね。女性には丁度いいかも。

刺身とウニ丼のセットメニューにしました。昔からあるお店でもあり新鮮でおいしく食べさせてもらいました。安い値段ではないものの、やはり天草で食べる海鮮類は新鮮ですね。お店によっては新鮮さがいまいちのところもあるので、このお店なら安心という感じで利用させてもらってます。

地方によくあるドライブイン的な感じで、にぎわう国道沿いなので入りやすいお店です。地元の新鮮な魚料理がメインで、エントランスの大きなイケスからあげて料理されてます。今日は定食で食事会でしたが、充分に海の幸を味わえました。平日でしたが、観光客も地元のお客さんもいて、休日のお昼は駐車場がいっぱいなのを見かけますね。
