The Sea Road Munakata Museum has permanent exhibits where one can learn about the history of Munakata as well as limited term special exhibits. There is also a 3D theater where visitors can enjoy the mysterious world of Okinoshima though sounds and images. There is an experience corner where one can come in contact with ancient civilizations through exhibits with themes such as making magatama accessories or learning how humans first made fire, enjoyable by both children and adults.

宗像大社の駐車場からすぐにある施設です。大社見学がすぐに終わったので、ここでビデオを見せてもらいました。この日は雪模様で人も少なく、貸し切り状態です。無料なのでいいですね。
