Shinto shrine in Hakodate City, Hokkaido. Hondawake no Mikoto is enshrined here and is known as bringing good fortune for luck, maritime safety, and business prosperity. The famous Hakodate Hachimangu Festival is held on August 15th which draws great crowds every year.
