Houheikyou Dam
Dam in Shikotsu Toya National Park in Sapporo, Hokkaido. An arch concrete dam constructed as flood control for the Toyohira River and to generate hydropower. The park is a wildlife reserve so tourists can only access it via the electric bus and on foot. It is also an incredibly popular spot for fall leaf viewing, making fall the busiest time of the year.
