Roadside Station 230 Rusutsu

This roadside station is located along National Route 230 that runs through Rusutsu-mura. It is placed in a scenic area where you can view Yoteizan, nicknamed Ezo Fuji, from within the facility. The restaurants there have menus that use local ingredients. In addition, at the direct sales store for agricultural, forestry and fishery products, they cheaply offer fresh vegetables harvested in the village as well as processed foods. Rusutsu-mura is known as the setting for the nursery rhyme Akai Kutsu (Red Shoes), and Akai Kutsu Furusato park is located right next to the roadside station 230 Rusutsu. In the park, besides a bathroom corner with a triangular roof where the melody of the children's song Akai Kutsu is played, there is also a bust of the famous pioneer of shiatsu (finger pressure) massage Tokujiro Namikoshi, where many people take commemorative photos.

豚肉など精肉品卸売市場「どんどん市」の横にある道の駅です。留寿都周辺の特産品が多数販売されていました。個人的には白や緑のアスパラガスは美味しそうに感じました。各野菜売り場には農家さんの顔写真が掲載されていて、農作物作りへの強い思いを感じました。またレストランも併設していました。この周辺で採れた食材が盛り付けられたピザは美味しそうでした。お肉類の購入は隣のどんどん市で、野菜やその他お土産を購入したり...
長いもがズラリ

柱や梁、壁に木材が多用されており、陳列棚やイス・テーブルなどの調度品も木製なのでぬくもりがあり落ち着いた雰囲気です。直売所ではグリーアスパラや大根、豆類、長芋などの様々な野菜が豊富にありましました。レストランはピザオンリーでした。
そこそこな規模の道の駅

平日の昼過ぎに訪問しましたが駐車場にはそこそこクルマも停まっており繁盛してました。季節柄、アスパラがたくさん販売されてました。農産物販売コーナーは広さもあり色々な種類の野菜が販売されてました。ここでは他の道の駅では見かけなかった地元産のにんにくとながいもを購入しました。長持ちするような方法をレジのおばさんがアドバイスしてくれてほのぼのしました。界隈の道の駅ではお薦めできるポイントでした。
