This small Izakya pub next to the Sapporo Clock Tower seats only 20. One can enjoy fresh sashimi, crab, urchin, scallops, and other seafood dishes with some sake, selected from their myriad supply. The salt-water bafun urchin, harvested from Hamanaka in the eastern region of Hokkaido during winter to spring, is highly recommended. From spring, it is the hair crab season. The spring kegani (hair crab) called 'ryuhyo-ake kegani (melting iceberg hair crab)' is particularly a specialty. However, because they are prepared once the order is placed, reservations are a must for both the urchin and kegani dishes. Reservations are recommended for the other dishes too. Party and course menus are available including all-you-can eat and drink courses.
