Wakkanai Onsen 'Dome' is 12 minutes from JR Wakkanai Station and 13 minutes from Minami Wakkanai Station by car. It's located at the northernmost tip of Japan in Fujimi, Wakkanai City, Hokkaido. The hot spring quality is weakly alkaline with high tonicity and a low temperature. It has 11 baths for guests to enjoy including a large common bath, outdoor baths, a reclining bath, and a medicinal bath available for day use. The establishment is fully barrier free. Guests enjoy golden sunsets and the grandeur of nature from the window in the large bathhouse. The silhouettes of Rishiri Island and Rebun Island are also visible. As the northernmost hot spring in Japan, they issue a proof of soaking certificate to commemorate your visit.

普通の大人は600円、お年寄りは100円なので、お年寄りの入浴者が多いように感じた。貴重品ロッカーは２階の浴場の近くにあり、100円を入れるタイプだった（後で戻ってくる）。風呂の脱衣場のロッカーも100円入れるタイプだった（後で戻ってくる）。浴場には、大浴場・小さな薬湯（内容は時々変わる）・泡ぶろ・ジェットバス・露天風呂・サウナ（２種、コロナ閉鎖の有無は不明）等があり、バリエーションがあった。お湯...

日本国内では、もっとも北にある温泉で、建物の2階の窓からはオホーツク海が見えます。結構、近代的で、建物の中では食事も出来ます。

地元の人も通う、稚内温泉(童夢)です。稚内駅からバス往復と入湯券がセット(1060円)になったもので、行きました。中はサウナや、蒸気サウナ、露天風呂等備わってました。食堂、休憩室もありくつろげますね。
