Roadside Station Hot Haboro
A roadside station built around the midway point of National Route 231, nicknamed the Ororon Line. The station is notable for its white building modeled after a luxury cruise ship. The upper floors of the building are a hotel area offering lodging. Non-guests are also free to use the hotel's hot spring bath facility, restaurant, and lobby. The facility's shops sell products made with northern shrimp and wakame seaweed, local specialty products. The station is adjoined by a garden featuring rare northern roses as well as the Hokkaido Seabird Center, ensuring there's plenty of sightseeing for visitors here as well.
