Hokkaido Museum
Also known affectionately as “Mori no Charenga,” Hokkaido Museum preserves research reports and historical materials relating to Hokkaido’s natural environment and the relationship between this environment and the people who live here, the culture of the Ainu people, the lives of the people who migrated to Hokkaido from Honshu, etc., and has displays on five key themes. To reach the Museum, take the Hokkaido Bus service to Hokkaido Kaitaku-no-mura (Historical Village of Hokkaido) from JR Shin-Sapporo Station and get off at the Hokkaido Hakubutsukan (Hokkaido Museum) bus stop; the journey from the Station takes approximately 15 minutes.
