Senposhimisaki Park
Senposhimisaki Park is a park located at Cape Senposhi, at the southernmost tip of Rishiri Island. The imposing spectacle of Mt. Rishiri is visible from the Park, and visitors can also view many unusually-shaped rocks washed ashore by the sea that were originally blasted out of Mt. Rishiri during one of its volcanic eruptions. In one corner of the beach (which is a superb place for nature observation), orphaned seals are looked after; visitors can experience feeding them.

- 海岸線の絶景とニシン漁の「潤」という袋潤が水族館になった史跡が楽しめる。

- 駐車場で車を降りると1軒の利尻昆布屋さんがあり、その脇を進むと足場は悪いですが、小さな生簀のようなものがあり、ゴマフアザラシが1頭飼育されています。これは稚内のノシャップ岬の水族館から出張に来ている個体です。餌やりも出来ます。その囲いになっているのは「潤」という物で、ニシン漁で使われた船着き場で会ったり、獲れ過ぎた鰊を保管しておく施設の名残です。天気が良ければ海岸線と一緒に利尻富士が望めると思いま...

- 看板まで車で行ける。アザラシがいるらしいが、自然にやってきたものではなく、何と飼われているのだとか。見晴らしはとても良いが、見どころがあるわけではないのが残念。

- 以前はアザラシが飼われていた天然の生け簀にウニやヒトデなどが生息している。生け簀の外側にもウニが生息していた。
