Nakafurano Lavender Garden

Other places famous for flowers
A symbol of Nakafurano Town, this lavender garden covers Mt. Hokusei which becomes a ski resort during the winter. If you go to the top on the lift you can see four different kinds of lavender, as well as some colorful marigolds, and salvia splendens covering the mountainside. You can really appreciate the true beauty of nature from here. The lavender park is open from late June through to mid-August.
