Sapporo Okurayama Viewing Point
Okurayama Ski Jump Stadium was the stage for ski jumping at the Winter Olympic Games held in Sapporo in 1972. A two-seater lift goes up to the top from where you can see up close the huge, steep jump. From the observation lounge (start house) at an altitude of 307 meters, you can overlook the city of Sapporo and the Ishikari Basin and get a feel for the wonderful expanse of natural beauty of Hokkaido.
