Restaurante VASCU
This restaurant is located about a three-minute walk south from the Suginami-cho tram stop. As the name of the store suggests, serves cuisine of the Basque region. There are private rooms other than the main hall, so customers can enjoy a quiet meal. The owner is the first Japanese chef who trained under the chef known as the father of Basque cuisine. The chef continues to create authentic dishes that are true to the Basque region. There is also a course menu that combines fresh Hakodate seafood and homemade ingredients.

- シェフの思いが全てある。スペインのバスク料理。ランチコースを堪能しました。コメントを見るより、まずは訪れてみて下さい。特に私はヤリイカのイカスミソースが最高においしかった。Basque Spanish cuisine. He has run this store for 38 years. Highly recommended.

- メニューB(前菜、スープ、メイン、パン、サラダ、デザート)と生ハムを単品で頼みました。どれも美味しかったです。こちらを訪れる際には、事前にホームページから深谷シェフについてのページを読んでから伺うといいと思います。生ハムをお願いすると深谷シェフが席まで来てくれて、自らハムを切って下さいます。シェフのことを知ってからお料理を頂くと、美味しさ倍増です。
