Hinokigasa no Ie

A craft goods shop situated along National Route 256 in Azuma, Kiso Town, Kiso County, Nagano Prefecture. The shop makes and sells Araragi hinokigasa woven cypress hats, a craft over 300 years old which has been designated a Traditional Craft by the prefecture. Made by hand according to traditional techniques, the shop's hats can be used for decoration or worn every day.
