A hot spring bathhouse adjoining the inbound line Suwako Service Area on the Chuo Expressway. The first hot spring bathhouse in Japan to be built on the grounds of a highway rest area, the facility is situated on a rise, enabling bathers to take in a sweeping view of Lake Suwa. The view at night is particularly beautiful. A popular, oasis-like destination for drivers to ease away the fatigue of a long journey, depending on the time of year, visitors can also enjoy seasonal baths such as a yuzu citrus bath or Chinese quince bath. As the hot spring taxes in Suwa City on the inbound line and Okaya City on the outbound line differ, the bathhouse entry fee differs depending on the direction you are traveling.

高速道路唯一？の温泉

東名の足柄や名神の多賀等、全国の高速道路のSA、PAでお風呂があるところは他にもありますが、温泉はこの諏訪湖しか知りません。いつも出かけた帰りにこちらを通りかかると利用しますがリフレッシュできて良いと思います。循環ですが塩素臭は気にならない程度。普通の温泉のように規制がないので、お絵描きした方も良くご利用されますから気になる方は避けた方が良いと思います。

本来諏訪湖のほとりの立ち寄り湯に寄ろうとしたのですが、行きたい所が全てお休み。仕方なく、上り線の温泉に行きました。料金は620円だったと思いますが、うーんという感じです。必要最低限の浴槽、狭い洗い場。洗い場でシャワーを使っている人のしぶきが浴槽まで。ロケーションは諏訪湖一望ですが、窓が汚く、浴槽との高さの問題で立ち上がらなけば見えないという、、、長距離トラックの運転手と思われる利用者が多...

松本方面から横浜に帰る前に立ち寄りました。諏訪で温泉に入りたかったですが時間がなく見つけた高速道路パーキングエリアの温泉。驚きの立地！小さな湯船でしたが疲れをとるには十分でした。
