This restaurant started as a tofu shop in 1948 and later operated as a general store and a restaurant before resurrecting ikki soba, a local soba noodle dish native to the Torigoe area, in 1981. Operating out of a traditional old Japanese home with a working water wheel, the restaurant serves the Chosuke Gozen meal, which is particularly recommended. The hearty and healthy meal comes with seasonal vegetable and edible wild plant tempura, kata-dofu hard tofu sashimi, a nimono stewed dish, a seasonal side, rice, Japanese pickles, and a small serving of soba noodles.

Delicious handmade soba using lots of local ingredients. The building is old and traditional and very peaceful. My favourite is the Ikko soba lunch set, which has mochi in the soba!

白山市窯清水町にあります、今回初めて来店しましたなかなか風情のある外観ですそばは田舎盛りを頂きましたそば、てんぷらも美味いです、鳥越の他の蕎麦屋さんは何回か行ったことがありますがここが一番美味いです。

一向一揆の鳥越城址を訪れた後の昼食で伺いました。店構えから美味しそうで期待を裏切りませんでした。一揆そば御膳を頼みましたがよもぎ餅の天ぷらがのっていて美味しかったです。自家製プリンとコーヒーもついていてお得でした。また、近くに寄ったときは訪れたいです。
