The Edo period warehouse has been arranged into a modern round style designed by Kisho Kurokawa. 黒川紀章氏の設計になる美術館。芦城公園の一角にある。「本陣」と聞いて、かつての本陣の跡にでも作ったのかなと思ったが、北國銀行の元頭取の本陣甚一氏のコレクションを中心にした美術館だとか。すみません。中に入る時間がありませんでした。

広島市現代美術館を思いきりコンパクトにしたような設計の美術館。所蔵品は九谷焼や絵画など見応えはありますが、いかんせん小規模。芦城公園の回遊のついでに行くと良いです。

小松は観光地ではないのですが、市役所の周りに、元の城の庭園の芦城公園、当美術館、市立博物館、宮本三郎美術館と固まってある。予定より早く食事が終わり、次の約束に時間があったので、ちょっと時間つぶしによった。入場料は300円、住民で65歳以上は無料、JAF会員は250円です。1階に一部屋、2階に4部屋展示室がある小さな美術館です。行った時は花言葉をテーマに展示をしており、伊東深水、梅原龍三郎とかの花...
