Rojo Park
This park was built on the site of the outermost region of Komatsu Castle, once the residence of Maeda Toshitsune, the third lord of Kaga Domain. A traditional Japanese strolling garden built around two ponds and a waterfall in the center, a stream connects the ponds and the waterfall and artificial hills provide a background landscape. The park also has cultural facilities, including a history museum, art museum, library, and teahouse. The grounds are also famous for cherry blossoms, wisteria flowers, azaleas, irises, and other seasonal flowers, as well as an old pine of historical interest.
