Shirasagi Footbath

This footbath incorporates the same kind of wooden lattice work which can be seen throughout the Yuwaku Onsen hot spring district and is also made with Tomuro stone and gold leaf, materials which reflect the culture and history of Kanazawa. The history of the famous Yuwaku Onsen dates back 1,300 years and it was once the official hot spring destination for the lords of Kaga Domain. The footbath is roofed, ensuring visitors can enjoy it even when it is raining.
