Shichinohe Town Takayama Uichi Memorial Museum of Art
An art museum opened in 1994 to honor the work of Shichinohe Town, Aomori Prefecture-born Western-style painter Uichi Takayama (1908-1999). The museum's standing exhibit primarily contains works submitted to the Nikaten art exhibition, which served as a space for Takayama to reveal his works throughout his career; as well as a large number of sketches which served as the foundation of the artist's creation activities. The museum also holds special exhibitions around twice a year.

Review
-
