A museum in Senshu Park, Akita City. Located in the Ninomaru (outer citadel) in Senshu Park where the ruins of Kubota Castle are located the museum has materials related to the Satake family, who once governed over the Akita domain, on display. Materials focus on the feudal lord Satake Yoshinobu in their permanent exhibit called the Birth of the Akita Domain but they also hold special themed exhibitions.
