"This exhibition facility is located inside the new Yamanashi Prefecture Disaster Prevention building along Prefectural Route 31 in Marunouchi 1-Chome, Kofu City. The exhibit's three themes, ""A timeline of people and jewelry,"" ""Those who give shape to jewelry,"" and ""the way of the craftsman,"" are always on display, and feature the history and techniques of Yamanashi's jewelry industry. In the special exhibition room, you can view the exhibit ""Modern Yamanashi Jewelry,"" featuring creations by young designers, and other exhibits regarding jewelry. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, you can view a live performance by a craftsman, and also try your hand at a jewel crafting experience."

甲府市に来ても、いつも車で通り越してしまっていたジュエリーミュージアムにやっと行ってきました。茶色のビルのやまなしプラザの一階にあります(入場無料)。山梨の宝飾業の歴史や技術、一大産地になった理由などが、とても分かりやすく展示されています。職人の技などが映像でも紹介されているので、ご覧になる事もおすすめします。

6月21日訪問（新型コロナ感染予防の為休館していましたが 6月3日より再開館）新型コロナ感染予防を考慮し検温チエックし連絡先を記入後マスク着用にて入館となりますので他人への感染、自分自身を守ると言う意味で安心です。展示内容として《水晶とメノウ（シュエリーを楽しむ3）10月19日迄》《山梨大学水晶工芸コレクション展 7月27日迄》が開催されています（但し写真撮影不可）。展示内容...
指輪づくり体験が楽しい

娘と指輪作り体験をしました。6色の石の中から石を選んで作りました。私は作りたかった石があったのでうれしかったです。作る工程は小学生でもできる程度だったので少し物足りないくらいでした。他にもストラップづくりの体験もありました。事前に予約が必要です。展示のジュエリーはとても素晴らしかったです。これを無料で見学できるのはいいです。駐車場も地下にあり、無料でした。
