This 120,000 square meter park uses its natural surroundings where the Wachi River runs through pristine forest. The park contains Mt. Tengai amidst red pine forest, with a view of old Wachi Town, and is filled with about 900 varieties of plant. They also hold a number of events, including craft classes and stamp rallies.

花の綺麗な季節に行きましょう

山野草の森、というだけあって、花園ではありません。季節を合わせれば満開の花があるのかもしれませんが、6月に行ったら新緑のきれいな植物園でした。若干の高低差はあるものの、そこまできつい園内でもないですし、良いハイキングになりましたが、花の見頃を調べて行ったほうが楽しめると思います。

いつ行っても何かしらの花が咲いていて楽しめます。どれも良いですが、個人的に一番のおすすめはやはり笹百合と乙女百合。優しい薄紅色の花は溜息が出るほど美しく一見の価値があります。森林浴も手軽なハイキングも出来て空気が美味しく鉄橋を走る鉄道も見られ、人が暖かく料金が安い！JAFメイトカード持参で２１０円！何度でも行きたくなる癒しの場所です。次は絶対桜を見に行きます。
桜が綺麗です

野草園で様々な植物がありますが、桜の時期も綺麗です。入口から入ると、ちょうど山陰線の鉄橋の下あたりの道に桜並木があり、とても綺麗でした。鉄道好きなら桜を入れて写真を撮ることができます。
