Genseian Zuiko-ji Temple

This temple began in 1655, early in the Edo period, from the thatched cottage of representative priest of Nichiren Buddhism, Gensei Shonin. The priest's love of bamboo led to this temple being called Chikuyou-an, or bamboo leaf temple. The temple grounds are full of things to see, like the Gensei Shonin no Gobyo (Three Bamboo Stalk Grave) that offers help with making or breaking ties, or the wealth-bringing Hakuryu Zeniarai Benzaiten. In spring the weeping cherry blossoms and Yoshino cherry blossoms are popular with visitors coming to enjoy the blossoms.

開放的な日蓮宗の寺院です

ここは元政庵と云う号を冠した日蓮宗寺院です。江戸時代の日蓮宗を代表する高僧の元政、草山和尚が開創、深草に居住していた。元々は毛利輝元の家臣の五男として生まれたらしい。茅葺屋根が特徴の質素な寺院です。ここの庭園はなかなか綺麗に手入れがされている。
小さいですが緑が多いですよ

緑が多い瑞光寺です。参道は樹木に囲まれ鯉が泳いでいる池も有ります。もともとは古いお寺が有ったそうですが荒廃し、江戸時代彦根藩士が出家しこの日蓮宗のお寺を創建しました。
元政上人忌(毎年3月18日)

毎年3月18日に元政上人忌が、行われ伽藍内に入る事ができます。通常は、茅葺の本堂とお庭が見られますが、行くなら3月18日でしょう。
