国道から西明寺入り口までタクシーで入っていけるのでアプローチが便利でした。店内からの渓谷の紅葉も素晴らしかったです。
西明寺を出て高山寺に”指月亭”

三尾観光の際に寄ってみました。神護寺→西明寺→高山寺と廻り、西明寺を出たところに位置します。内部は茶店風でまったりできそうで簡単な食事もできそうでしたが、お土産物を少し買うのみにしました。

西明寺の表参道を下山し指月橋という朱塗りの橋を渡るとたもとに茶店があります。ここで昼食にします。左手川沿いに別棟があり食事処になっています。畳の座敷・テーブルに低めの椅子席から川、木々、指月橋を眺めながらの食事は最高です。山里定食は鱒の甘露煮、月見とろろ、煮物二鉢、山菜、赤出し、香の物、ご飯がお盆で綺麗に供され、期待以上の内容と美味しさでした。これで1,800円は大満足で、三尾三山参拝の際の昼食に...
