This venerable was restaurant established more than a century years ago. It is famous for serving softshell turtle, which has been known since ancient times for being highly nourishing. Guests can savor traditional flavors made the old fashioned way by hand. Other offerings include seasonal kaiseki, set meals, Shokado bento boxes, and hot pot. The restaurant also serves as a venue for banquets, meetings, weddings, and other events. We recommend their bottled eel and bottled softshell turtle as souvenirs.

JR亀岡駅から500ｍ程と便利なロケーションにある、料理旅館で、宴会・食事もできます。料理は、普通に美味しくいただけましたが、日本酒が白鷹・松竹梅と２種しかなく、丹山・翁鶴といった亀岡の地酒もなく、また純米酒も置いていないという、およそ日本料理屋とは思えない店でした。和食は日本酒を飲みながら、味わうという楽しみが感じられない店で、しかも、二合徳利も四合瓶も無く、日本酒好きの多人数で訪れたので...

亀岡駅から歩いて行ける昔からある老舗料亭です。京料理のコースを頂きました。繊細な仕事ぶりが伺える上品なお味でした。お刺身の新鮮さと椀ものの上品なお出汁が印象に残りました。

亀岡駅から、歩いて5、６分程度の楽々荘の向かいぐらいのところにある老舗の料亭です。和食中心です。大きな座敷もありました。料金も中程、味や料理内容も中程といった感じでした。
