A historical site in FurukawamiyazawaAtagoyama, Osaki City. The expansive grounds cover 1400 meters east to west and 850 meters north to south and include the historical remains of a castle fence that stood from the Nara period to the Heian period as well as a governmental office called Kanga. It was discovered during the excavation for the construction of the Tohoku Expressway and has been designated as a national historic site. The Atagoyama region is maintained as a historic park.
