A stone monument in Ichikawa Tayaba, Tagajo City. It dates back to the Nara period and is escribed with information about the founding of Tagajo Castle including its distance from Nara, the capital city at the time. The monument is the origin of the Tsubo no Ishibumi phrase that can be found in classical poetry and was mentioned by famous poet Matsuo Basho in his Oku no Hosomichi travel account.
