Akiu Otaki Botanical Garden

This botanical garden is located in Prefectural Route 62 in Otaki, Akiumachi Baba, Taihaku Ward, Sendai City. It has been planted with 15,000 plants representing 200 varieties including many that are native to the prefecture. Visitors can stroll through the garden while viewing azaleas and rhododendron in the spring or changing colors of the foliage in the fall.

秋保大滝の駐車場

秋保大滝に行った際に駐車場の隅の方に秋保大滝植物園がありました。入園料は大人240円で150坪の園内に900種の植物を見ることができます。また、園内から「すだれ滝」を見ることができます。

季節が中途半端だったせいかほとんど人がいませんでした。この植物園からしか見ることができない滝を見ることができます。

ちょうどイベントを開催しているときで、入場も無料でした。クイズラリーやクラフト、子ども向けの遊びなど工夫を凝らした内容で、大人も子どもも楽しめました。植物も沢山展示されていて、春夏がオススメかと思います。
