篆刻美術館の隣にある赤い建物が古河街角美術館です。に古河市ゆかりの作家を中心に作品が展示されています。入場無料ですこじんまりとした規模ですが、意外と楽しめました。

篆刻美術館に隣接していますが、こちらは入館無料。他の美術館から借りてきた、また市民から公募した作品を時期限定で展示する企画展専門の美術館。無料なので、気軽に入館できる良さがあります。スタッフのみなさんも親切。

古河駅西口から徒歩10分くらい、永井路子旧宅の近くにありました。れんが造りのような外観の建物で、無料で公開されていたので気軽に見学できました。市民向けの美術館という感じでした。
