Daigo Jizo

This is located near the Okukuji Daigo Roadside Station in Tsukuba City. At 9. 62 meters, it is the largest such statue in Japan. The Daiko Jizo Image Festival is held every year on August 14th, where participants can see floating lanterns in memory of those who perished in water-related accidents and an exhibition of fireworks.
