This historical structure is located inside Yamane Park in Suminoshinden-cho 3-Chome, Niihama City. The 170-meter-long, 27-tier masonry arena grandstands were constructed in 1928. Registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property, the grandstands continue to serve as the venue for the Kakikurabe, the main event of the Niihama Taiko Festival.
