Machiya Shiryokan

This history museum in Uchiko, Uchiko Town, Kita County is located inside of a restored and repaired machiya (townhouse) originally built in 1793. Visitors can tour the interior of the home, which has many of the characteristics of an Edo period machiya, and also see household goods, farming implements, and other items on display.
