本当に半田は、知多半島は、歴史が古いということがわかります。しかも重要な街であったということも。目から鱗でした。
半田の歴史と文化財が良くわかります。

博物館が図書館と併設されています。館内には、タンベ船の模型、明治時代の自転車、からくり人形、お祭りの山車、酢の醸造工程などが展示されています。

訪れた時は市制80周年記念展「写真で見る半田の今昔とはんだ山車まつり」が開催されていました。半田市についても学ぶことができ、面白かったです。
