Strawberry Fields Chikushino Strawberry Farm

A strawberry farm located along Prefectural Route 582 in Chikushi, Chikushino. They grow several types of strawberries including white strawberries (depending on the season) and offer strawberry picking from late November to early June (reservation required). With the raised strawberry beds you can easily pick berries while standing, and in the sweetshop facing the farm you can enjoy sweets made with freshly picked strawberries. They also offer blueberry picking from early July to late August.

福岡はいちごも有名ですね。とても甘いいちごで、美味しいイチゴ狩りができます。家族連れにもカップルにもお勧めです。

久留米基山筑紫野線にある城山ＩＣで下りて、県道を西側に走ると数分で到着します。聞くところによると九州で最も大きいいちご園だそうです。前日までに予約を入れておくことが必要です。入場料を払って食べ放題にいちご園(ビニールハウス)に入ると、糖度が高く、香り豊かな「かおりの」を中心にいただきました。寒い日でもハウスの中は温かいので快適です。

1月に行きました。イチゴはとても甘くて美味しかったです。時期にもよるそうですが品種は4種類ほどありました。寒い時期のいちごがとても美味しいそうなので、2月くらいまでがおすすめらしいです！
