A park in Tentokuji, Wakasa, Mikata-kaminaka. Located near the boundary of Tentokuji Temple it consists of the forested area surrounding Uriwari Falls, chosen as one of the Hundred Best Famous Waters. You can enjoy the abundant nature of the different seasons, including nearly 10,000 hydrangeas that bloom in June. In August they hold the Wakasa Uriwari Meisui Festival.

全国名水百選に選ばれている「瓜割の滝の周辺に広がる森は、木の間から光が差し込み、岩には苔が群生する幻想的な光景が見られます。庭園内には、１万株ものアジサイや、桜、モミジなどが植えられており、四季折の景色を見せてくれます。
瓜は割れないのでは？

瓜割の滝、とは言いますが、ちょっとした豪邸の庭にある滝程度のつつましやかな代物です。アジサイの名所でもあり、そこそこの株数が植えられています。ただ、レイアウトが良くないのと、種類がさほど多くないので見飽きてしまします。入場無料なので多くは望みませんが、もう少しうまく見せる工夫があっても良いのではと思います。

小浜市街から１２ｋｍほど湖北に向かった山中にある公園です。２００ｍほど上流にある瓜割の滝から流れてくる川水を湛えた池の周囲は、よく整備された親水庭園であり、１万株ものアジサイや、桜、モミジなどが植えられています。訪問時には水仙が咲いていました。入園・駐車とも無料です。
