You can experience a disaster prevention mini theater, earthquake experience room, smoke experience room, firefighting training room, first aid training room, and first aid training corner. 首都東京が震災被害で機能消失したときに、バックアップするための施設が点在する立川。その中心的な位置に立つ本格的な防災学習施設です。消防、防災機器が展示され、イベントもあるので事前に調べておきたい。次代に生きる子どもたちに、必ず学んでもらいたい学習要素があります。

子供向けの施設かと思っていましたが大人でも十分に勉強になります。もちろん楽しめます。夏休み中で子供が多かったです。
展示が進化

10数年ぶりに立川防災館に伺いました。体験オーナーは基本的に同じ設備でしたが、展示品が電子化され撮られた顔写真がモニターに合成され楽しめました。東京消防庁を卒業された方々の活躍の場か多くの高齢スタッフが優しく対応してくれました。
