SEIKADO BUNKO ART MUSEUM
This museum was established by Iwasaki Yanosuke, the younger brother of Mitsubishi's founder, Iwasaki Yatoro, as well as the fourth president of the company, Iwasaki Koyata, along with his son. The museum has 6,500 pieces of Asian art including seven National Treasures and 84 Important Cultural Properties, as well as a collection of 200,000 classical texts. The name of the facility is derived from ancient Chinese poetry and refers to offerings being beautifully arranged for the ancestral spirits. They are only open periodically for exhibits, so check the schedule before you go.
