"An art museum located in Unzen, Obama-cho, Unzen City. The museum's collection consists of Japanese ""vidro"" blown glass, whose techniques were transmitted to Nagasaki from Portugal; and antique Bohemian and other varieties of glassware. In addition to glassware, the museum holds season exhibitions of porcelain, paintings, and other works of art. The museum also holds special glassmaking experiences in which participants can create a piece of glassware using techniques such as fusing and sandblasting."

Si tratta di un piccolo museo del vetro molto curato. Gli arredi sono depoca e testimoniano la storia del sito.

雲仙は洋館風の建物がいくつもありますが、この雲仙ビードロ美術館もそのうちの一つ。美術館とありますが、そんなにかしこまったものではなく売店の2階に有料の展示があるという感じです。2階の展示は広さがそれなりにあるので意外と充実しています。ビードロと名は付いていますが長崎産のものは少なく、古今東西のガラス細工が色々と並んでいます。いずれにせよ好きな人なら楽しめると思います。1階はショップです。ガラス細...
