Okurayama Memorial Hall
This historical building is located in 2-Chome, Okurayama, Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City. It was constructed in 1932 as the main building for “Okura Institute for the Study of Spiritual Culture” by businessman, Kunihiko Okura, who served as president of Toyo University. The design is unique, adopting Eastern design in the pre-ancient Greece Western form. Currently, as a cultural facility, its halls, galleries and meeting rooms can be used, and it hosts events such as the “Okurayama Fall Arts Festival“. It is also commonly used for on-location shooting.
